Let's Be Real Now

R. Kelly's 13th studio album The Buffet is out at the end of the week, but the legendary songwriter has decided to release one more record before the LP impacts. "Lets Be Real Now" unites him with Tinashe, and once again proves that Kells has the versatility to keep up with the current wave of R&B artists. The duet is reminiscent of Drake and Rihanna's "Take Care," incorporating some electronic elements and some driving timpanis.

It sounds like something that could sit comfortably on contemporary R&B radio, while still keeping one foot in traditional songwriting. Look out for the album December 11th.
