Serious allegations have come out against R&B superstar R. Kelly.
According to a report from Buzzfeed News, Kelly has been imprisoning women in a sex cult and supposedly abusing them physically to make them stay in it. Music journalist Jim DeRogatis has reportedly verified these rumors with three former members of Kelly's entourage. In fact, the parents of one 19-year-old singer from Atlanta claim that, after meeting Kelly because she thought it would help her career, they've received two texts from her in the span of year and fear for her safety, especially at the hands of the “Bump 'N Grind” singer.
This is the nor the first time Kelly has been tagged with allegations of sexually deviant behavior. In 2008, he was acquitted of all charges in a child pornography case, after he had been accused of making a sex tape with an under-age girl. The jury could not confirm the identity of the girl in the video, therefore making the evidence in that case inconclusive.
No official word has come out from Kelly or his representatives on these new “sex cult” allegations.
