A couple weeks ago, Quentin Miller released his most honest yet -- “Cliché," a heartfelt examination of how girls have treated him differently since the Drake ghostwriting scandal went down. (Miller has since deleted the song from his SoundCloud account.) He addresses similar themes in different terms on "Mentions..." a new song he released this afternoon.
On "Mentions..." Miller employs what might be described as a Drake-esque flow (especially towards the end, around the 1:40 mark) to describe his current lifestyle -- "Drink dirty like Flint water." Lyle LeDuff handles production duties, providing QM with a remorseless piano-driven beat.
Fire or nah?
Drink dirty like Flint water
'97 whip no tint, yeah
I've been blowing money like air through a vent
Everything that we do is an event, lemme vent, woahhh
