Pusha T Says First Single From "My Name Is My Name" Set To Feature Kanye West

Pusha T discusses his first single from "My Name Is My Name," and the chances of him collaborating with Lil Wayne.

Pusha T recently did an interview with the Q Deezy Show, and gave an update on his anticipated album, My Name Is My Name, as well, discussed if he'd ever collaborated with Lil Wayne, and gave his own top MCs list.

Pusha first spoke on his upcoming solo album, and said he's prepping the first single. It's set to feature his G.O.O.D. Music boss, Kanye West. Pusha also revealed it will be titled "I Am." "Right now, at the end of the day, we at the finish line," Pusha said. "I think we just locked in the single, I'm just waiting for, actually, 'Ye to finish his verse on it. Then we goin' for it. It's called 'I Am,'" Pusha Ton told Q Deezy. He added, "the album is incredible," before listing a bunch of collaborations with producers and artists you can expect to hear.

Pusha goes on to talk about Lil Wayne's health, of which he seemed unaware that anything had happened, and about the possibility of collaborating with Wayne. "I don't wanna see that," he said of a track with Weezy. "You acting like this Carter 2 Wayne, get outta here," Pusha added. During the interview, Pusha also spoke on his and Kanye's varying opinion when it comes to rappers-- just recently 'Ye called Wayne the hottest rapper. "Me and Kanye have a difference in taste. It is okay. He can have that as an opinion," Pusha said.
