It was obvious to fans, but Pusha T now admits that the lyrics on his new leaked verse are shots at Lil Wayne and Birdman.

When a snippet was leaked from a verse Pusha T has on an upcoming Ludacris record, it was suspected that King Push was taking shots at Lil Wayne and Birdman.  After previously owning up that some subliminal shots of his were thrown at Weezy and Drake, the Clipse rapper has now confirmed that he is indeed taking shots at the YMCMB members in his new verse.

Some raps included are: "With your baby mama fucking every rapper in the business / Niggas saying you was better when the drugs was in your system / Now your crack swag gone ever since you came from prison / Got you tweeting all stupid, is you skatin’, is you dissin."  In case fans were having trouble putting it together, the “skatin” line clearly shows that this diss is aimed at Wayne.

In an interview with VIBE, Pusha does not mince words, and says he is taking shots at one of his favorite targets, Lil Wayne and that this was not an old verse from when they were beefing before, “it’s new and was for Luda’s album.”  The VA rapper then says he was motivated by the beat because Swizz Beatz was the producer, and he also produced the beat on Weezy’s diss record about Pusha, saying, “Oh, because it’s a Swizz beat. You got to blame Swizz. See, when Wayne got a Swizz beat… with the 'Ghoulish' track; he got busy, well, he tried to.”

He then goes on to explain why he chooses to often make his disses subliminal and not as overt as other rappers, and says it’s because he is skilled and has the ability to diss someone in a creative way.

This coincides with Pusha T announcing his upcoming Wraith of Cocaine mixtape, and his upcoming My Name Is My Name album.
