The collaboration features Lil Yachty prominently.

PUMA is doing its best to carve out a lane for itself in hip hop culture, a tall order given their competition is Nike, Jordan Brand, and adidas. In addition to the second round of sneakers in collaboration with Meek Mill, PUMA has linked up with streetwear brand Pink Dolphin for a Suede Classic capsule collection.

The PUMA Suede Classic appears in salmon and navy blue colorways, with a gradient applied to the mildly translucent soles. A slight gradient also appears on the heel panel. Pink Dolphin’s wave pattern appears on the heel to finish off a shoe that has plenty of very subtle but impressive features that set it apart from the standard Puma Classic silhouette.

The collection includes apparel as well as sneakers, also using the navy and salmon colors. The two brands went all in on the styling, putting together a lavish photo shoot that prominently features another aquatically-inclined individual: rapper Lil Yachty. Peep the video down bottom for a video reel, including shots of the very real black panther We’re glad they got Lil Yachty into a little boat for the shoot.

Everything goes on sale at select boutiques (including Pink Dolphin’s flagship stores in San Francisco and Los Angeles) and Puma.com.
