Propain is quickly making a name for himself out of Houston. He's been vetted by the OGs -- you may have heard him with Slim Thug on "All I Know" or, more recently, with Paul Wall on "Hold It Diine for My City," off Wall's new album Slab God. He's currently prepping a mixtape, Against All Odds, for imminent release, and he's decided to share a track off the upcoming project, "Rodeo," featuring Kevin Gates

Travi$ Scott took inspiration from the Houston rodeos for his debut album, and Propain's idea of a rodeo takes place in the bedroom. Gates opens the track with a nice melodic hook, and Propain lays down some hard raps, giving some H-Town rawness to the poppy production. We just wish the collab was a little bit longer. Hopefully we get an extended version on the mixtape.

Stay on the lookout for Against All Odds.

Quotable Lyrics

Every pick up line, if you was mine, these lame n*ggas done said it
All the different trials, invested time, you speak just to regret it
Girl, I know, I feel you, but understand it's worth it
If you never had the bad, you wouldn't appreciate the perfect
