Prince is fresh off of signing a new deal with Warner Brothers, announcing the partnership just yesterday, in fact.
The artist formerly known as 'The Artist Formerly Known As Prince' seems like he's been sitting on some new music, as he's wasted no time releasing his new single, "The Breakdown".
The lush ballad captures the classic sounds the purple one is known for, but could also fit in just fine beside some contemporary R&B from the likes of someone like Miguel.
His classic album, Purple Rain, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, and will be granted with a special reissue. More importantly, we'll be getting a brand new studio album from Prince this year as well.
I used to throw the party
For the New Year's Eve
First one intoxicated
Last one to leave
Waking up in places
That you would never believe
Give me back the time
You can keep the memories
