Wale has been preparing his Shine album for some time, and while we haven't heard an update on the album in some time, there have been some promising developments over the last week. Following the release of J. Cole's "False Prophets," Wale released a response track called "Groundhog Day," addressing one of the verses that may or may not have been written about him. Now, courtesy of Lil Wayne HQ, footage of a video for upcoming single "Running Back" with Lil Wayne.
According to the Wayne fan site, the clip was filmed on Friday in Atlanta. For those who have been following closely, you'll recognize the song from some short hints on Wale's Snapchat earlier this year.
When the track will arrive in full is anyone's guess, but this is certainly a good indication that Shine is back on track for release soon. Check out some more photos from the shoot (via Dujuan Free) above.
