Toronto gunner Pressa released his debut mixtape Press Machine earlier today. One of the tape's most alluring songs, "John Connor," takes its name from the messianic figure of the Terminator film series, of which Pressa is evidently a fan.
Produced by Motivated, "John Connor" exists at the intersection of drill and dancehall, an area of music that hasn't been fully explored, which may explain why Pressa has been gaining a ton of traction over the course of the past year. At one point, he claims that he "shoots like Matty Bonner." Word.
