Post Malone's been on a roll over the past few years. The release of Stoney won over mainstream America while beersbongs & bentleys further solidified him as a pop icon for this generation. However, with such a massive status in the game, it seems like it would be wise for him to use his platform to venture into other creative avenues. He's readying his acting debut alongside Mark Wahlberg for Netflix's Wonderland. However, he seems to have more up his sleeve for the future.

The talk surrounding Rush Hour 4 has been running rampant recently. The stars of the buddy-cop film franchise, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, have been teasing the film for a minute while reports have said that the film is in development. The latest news surrounding the flick comes from the movie's director, Brett Ratner, who seemed to tease some new music from one of the world's biggest stars right now: Post Malone. Ratner shared a screenshot of a Facetime conversation he had with Posty, with the caption, "#Soundtrack #RushHour4@bleemusic14 @postmalone @val.blav."

Now, that isn't any sort of confirmation that the film is on the way or that Post will be on the soundtrack but if it does come into fruition, maybe we could expect the genre-blending pop-singer to make a cameo in the film.

Keep your eyes peeled for more info on Rush Hour 4
