Poncho hails from the north side of Atlanta, and while there are many rappers coming out of the region, he manages to set himself apart from the pack. "Too Legit" has an almost ambient feel, building of of the heavily filtered beats of Mike WiLL Made-It and injecting the instrumental with a dose of sentimentality. Poncho greets the beat with an emotional delivery, and once he gets to singing the hook, he wins us over with a syrupy delivery reminiscent of Future's ballad work.
