Pollari is a particularly exciting presence in the new wave of Atlanta. His sound and aesthetic seamlessly travel through the Internet to incorporate an array of electronic influences while keeping a flavor that's unique to ATL hip-hop. This year, he's teamed up with the Shlohmo-led WeDidIt collective for a joint project as well as an EP of his own, July's ✞ lil llàri world ✞, that featured Lil Yachty and far-out trap production from SenseiATL. Known for his use of eclectic beats, Pollari has now teamed up with a guy who's a known force in the game, Taylor Gang's Sledgren. Still, their collaboration, entitled "Anything," is as adventurous as anything either artist has put out.

Sledgren crafts a glistening synth-layered production that's driven by a bouncy bassline, and Pollari exercises a flow that's just as lush as the instrumental. Though his harmonizing sometimes equates to mumbling, his vocals never settle into a drone; instead, there's always a funky spirit about them. "Anything" is about a woman who is willing to meet Pollari's every desire, but it still sounds full of romance. The song could mark the onset of a very exciting rapper-producer partnership.
