Photos of a suspect were publicized by the Rochester Police Department. The images depict a white man who, according to many social media users, bears an uncanny resemblance to a rap star. The photoset went viral when they hinted at the men's likeness.
The search for the wanted man gained a lot of attention and the police's efforts eventually yielded the desired results. Still, the legal authorities issued an update in order to offer clarity in terms of the identification of the male suspect.
Their status update left no room for anyone to confuse the man in the photo with Slim Shady.
