Philly-based singer and rapper PnB Rock is a promising songwriter out of Philly, quietly releasing gem after gem on his SoundCloud over the last year, as well as teaming with Fetty Wap for the criminally underrated Money, Hoes & Flows mixtape. "Poppin" is yet another synth-orchestrated pop-rap ballad, as PnB teams with newcomer Asian Doll, who has a similar affinity for sticky auto-tuned melodies.
In proper duet form, the two sing to one another, sharing their perspectives on a relationship, holding it down for one another, but also bringing spirituality into the equation: "God is the plan A, fuck a plan B."
