Well look what we have here. Having been relatively quiet since the release of his Die Lit album last month, with exception to the “R.I.P” video, Playboi Carti decides to make his return to the scene today thanks to producer DP Beats, who releases this new song called “Check.” The song originally suffered a leak earlier this year, but it wasn't great quality, so DP decided to change all that today and treat fans to the official version.

Just as the title depicts, Carti delivers a rather repetitive record that finds him rapping about simply getting the “check.” Unfortunately, there’s only one real verse from Carti, who raps about getting the money & the hoes wanting him, but it’s better than nothing I guess right? It kind of sounds like there was room for a featured guest or someone was taken off as there’s a big gap of just the instrumental playing where a second verse would go, but who knows.

Available on iTunes, take a listen to the new song and let us know what you think. If you wish to see Carti live in person you’re in luck. The ATL rapper is about to the hit road starting next month for his "Die Lit" tour, which you can peep dates for right here if interested.

Quotable Lyrics:

Look at that nigga he stylin' (check, check)
Look at these hoes, they wildin' (check, check)
All of these hoes they got me (check, check)
All of these hoes they want me
I get that check and I flip
I get your bitch and I flip
I get the money, I deal and flip
