Style conscious rapper Playboi Carti confided in an interview with W Magazine that, just a few years back, he was so broke he would wear just about anything. So, when the emcee modeled for Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5 launch this past winter, he said Kim Kardashian came to his aid.
"She's a real woman," Carti said of the entrepreneur. "She was showing me how to wear the clothes."
A Hypebeast himself, the 21-year-old had modeled for Drake's OVO Summer 2016 editorial. Yet he had never crossed the catwalk before.
"It was different, my first time walking in a show," he explained.
The Atlanta phenom is gearing up for the end of his website countdown Friday at midnight. A tracklist of his upcoming project has leaked ahead of time on Spotify.
