Digital Trapstars continue to tease their Screens on Lock 3 mixtape, this time dropping a collaboration between Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid. Previously the two linked up on “Plug.”
“3 Chains” features the two artists rapping over a very active, synth heavy beat. Digital Trapstars live up to the “digital” in their name, going with the all-autotune-everything theme for the track. Interestingly, the chorus is actually more sparse than the verses. The duo raps about stunting with “three chains on” throughout the song.
Rich the Kid and Lil Uzi Vert are playing the mixtape release party Wednesday night in New York City if you’re in the area. It should be lit.
