There's no doubt that Playboi Carti has been having a great year so far. With the release of his self-titled mixtape as well as "Magnolia" reaching the Top 40, it's hard to say that he isn't prospering. However, in an interview with DJ Akademiks, producer MilanMakesBeats says that he isn't getting the proper credit for his contributions.

He says he initially sent a beat package to another artist but ended up in the hands of Carti. Milan says that he ended up hearing "VLONE Thugs" on Ian Connor's periscope.

During the interview, MilanMakesBeats makes several other accusations towards the Atlanta rapper. He also says that on top of not getting the credit, he also didn't receive proper compensation for his work.

It's definitely a large accusation to be putting out there, however if this does hold true, hopefully MilanMakesBeats does receive the proper credits and compensations for his work.
