After a quick perusal of the internets, it appears Pistola is an artist hailing from Stoughton, MA, who initially released this song, "Pistola," last year. After racking up 50,000 Soundcloud plays on the original song, produced by Chris Romero, he's offering a fresh remix with Big Baby D.R.A.M.
The title of the record reflects its Southern sound. Despite being a Massachusetts native, the internet knows no geography, and thus Pistola is clearly influenced by the old school South. The slow-moving, horn-punctuated beat is perfect for D.R.A.M.'s smooth verse, while Pistola drawls on the track as well.
