After linking up with Mozzy last month for the joint album Political Ties, Philthy Rich is already transitioning his focus toward his next project Hood Rich 4, which drops November 18. Today, the Oakland spitter decides to give fans another taste of what’s to come by dropping off this new Zaytoven-produced leak called “Money In The Trap” featuring Rockie Fresh, Casey Veggies & MMG’s Fat Trel.
“This is motivation music for anyone doing their 9-5, legitimately trapping, or anyone making money. Trapping has transcended its original definition of selling drugs to meaning making money anyhow, anywhere, period. You could be working at McDonalds, trapping. You could be throwing newspapers at people’s doorsteps at 6 in the morning, trapping. You could be a nurse. At the end of the day, you’re making money too,” Philty Rich told Mass Appeal.
