Phil Ade has been absent for awhile, but he returns today with the announcement of a new mixtape on the way, and the first leak off it via Complex. The DMV rapper's career has somewhat faltered over the years, despite a strong catalogue of mixtapes, he's never quite made his way up the rap ranks. So we're wondering if this will be the year he breaks, and it seems like he's also wondering that, as he raps, "thought I wouldn't still be here / every year is still the year."
This new collaboration has soulful vibes with production from Kal Banx and vocal assistance from Mya.
