Last month, beloved rapper and member of a Tribe Called Quest, Phife Dawg, lost his battle with diabetes, and the rap community is still in mourning. Tonight, live at the Apollo, an event is being held to remember and celebrate the life of Phife, which will feature an array of guest appearances (Kelly Price just showed up).
The event is currently live streaming on Revolt, you can tune in above. We're sure there will be a lot of surprises, memorable performances, and more importantly, fitting tributes to the important rapper. Phife's posthumous single, produced by J Dilla, is set to air on Beats 1 radio tomorrow. RIP Phife.
