Legendary producer Pete Rock has teamed up with all of the original producers featured on Nas' Illmatic for a brand new mixtape. Titled after the film of the same name, Time Is Illmatic is forty minutes of remixed glory.
“I was motivated to produce this mixtape because 'Time Is Ilmatic' is a part of hip-hop history that everyone should know about; and have in both their music and now film collection," Pete Rock told Complex.
