Pete Davidson isn't here for the hate. Saturday Night Live alumni Chevy Chase sat down with the Washington Post recently, and tore apart the current cast of the series. "I don’t want to put down Lorne or the cast, but I’ll just say, maybe off the record, I’m amazed that Lorne has gone so low. I had to watch a little of it, and I just couldn’t fucking believe it." He continued on to blast the current state of humor on the show, and in this generation. “That means a whole generation of shitheads laughs at the worst fucking humor in the world,” he stated. “You know what I mean? How could you dare give that generation worse shit than they already have in their lives? It just drives me nuts.” Davidson sat down on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show on Monday, and addressed Chase's comments.
“He’s a fucking douchebag. Fuck Chevy Chase. I hate that dude,” stated Davidson. “He’s just a genuinely bad, racist person, and I don’t like him…Fuck him…He’s a putz. I don’t like him.” He continued on to defend his boss and SNL creator Lorne Michaels and comment on Chase's career. “What has he done since ’83? Nothing,” Davidson remarked. “He had a really big career but then it stopped because everybody realized he’s a jerk off. It’s just disrespectful to Lorn too, a guy who gave you a career. No matter how big you get, you can’t forget what that guy did for you.”
