PartyNextDoor has had himself and eventful weekend when it comes to releasing music. Giving fans a good start to the weekend with two new singles, "Damn" and "Break Me Down," PND went on a tear while most of us were asleep and had two additional songs waiting for us, making Sunday morning more than just a post-Saturday slog. "Put It On Silent," one of those fresh tracks, is a moody, sexy release about a man's tryst with a woman who's involved in another relationship. Suitably atmospheric, it doesn't have the crossover appeal of this track, "Naked." Assured, confident R&B music with a catchy hook and solid groove, this is a song that could give PND another radio hit in the near future.

Another sexually-charged bedroom anthem from the Canadian singer, the lyrics concentrate on the affinity the narrator has for his female love interest's body and willingness to do the deed with him. The chorus' refrain, "I need you to get naked," leaves nothing up for interpretation as to where he's coming from in his pursuit of a "get laid" kind of night. The song's cover art, which features a Picasso-style rendering of a slinky female silhouette, only adds to the aura of silky sheets and late-night romance. You'll be hard-pressed to find a sexier track for your pre-brunch lounging. The production behind this release also adds to PND's reputation as a powerhouse behind the board, with an expertly crafted instrumental providing a steel backbone to a song that could've otherwise felt very manufactured and by-the-numbers. However, this feels unique to his sound and keeps up the string of confident-sounding new material from him. There's maybe a little too much Drake thrown in for good measure out of the gate, but once it gets going, "Naked" is a slow jam that should have some legs in terms of its popularity.

What I need and what I like
