Today, four old PARTYNEXTDOOR demos surfaced online. While not quite as exciting as the four new ones that dropped randomly back in December, these previously unheard tracks are still a cause for celebration. Here's one of them, entitled "Kiss Me."
As is the case with the rest of these PND demos, this one sounds similar to early recordings from The Weeknd that predate House Of Balloons. On "Kiss Me," PND weaves several tracks of vocals together, creating a patchwork-style sound, with different melodies overlapping in a hypnotic fashion. Like his contemporary Abel Tesfaye, PND seemed to get his start singing almost exclusively about sex and drugs.
