P Reign has definitely been on one lately. The Toronto rapper, who has a close connection with Drake and OVO, let us premiere his new mixtape Off The Books in early December, which has gone on to receive almost 50,000 downloads. Today he returns to the mixtape to release a new visual for "On A Wave," following up the music video for the mixtape cut "Rich."
The video takes its cue from low-fi VHS tapes, a popular trend these days. It starts off with quick clips showing Bobby Shmurda and George Bush respectively, before getting into the Reps Up gang mobbing in the streets-- found footage is mixed through out.
