OnCue and producer Just Blaze chop it up with HotNewHipHop about their relationship and Cue's recent project "Angry Young Man."

OnCue and Just Blaze may seem like on odd pairing on paper, but when they get in the studio together and we hear the final result-- the music-- the chemistry is obvious.

Just Blaze was the executive producer for OnCue's recent mixtape,Angry Young Man, a project we premiered, and so we decided to follow up with these two collaborators in the studio to find out exactly how they first connected.

"One of the good homies, the Bald God, Alex, made the connect. I dug the music and then when he showed me the pictures I was like, that came out of that? Pause. Interesting," Just said. "I'm more of a personal vibe kinda guy, so I was like the music has potential, let's just see if he's cool...I liked his vibe so I was like alright, let's just try some records out and see what happens. I like to keep things organic," Just Blaze said of collaborating with OnCue.

The two also discuss about what a producer's role should be for any given artist, and how Blaze himself approaches things, Angry Young Man possibly hitting retail, what else OnCue has in store, and more.
