Our new season of On The Come Up continues this week, after introducing you to a West Coast staple last week (RJ) we move to the South for your proper introduction to Nessly.
Nessly's seen his stock rise in the past few months, all of which led up to the release of his recent project Still Finessin. However, it all started on Soundcloud. The auto-tuned crooner built up a loyal following after consistent leaks, and has worked with many fellow up & comers-- from Lil Yachty to Night Lovell to Safe and more. We had him stop by the office during a recent visit to NYC (likely for label meetings, as he hints at during our interview), and he gives us the rundown on his come-up.
Nessly discusses his ATL origins, his melodic inspiration, and some of his favorite artists outside of hip-hop. He also shares his yearly goal: to create a fucking legendary debut album.
