The Brooklyn gave us the full lowdown on how she's arrived where she is in our latest edition of On The Come-Up, including her fashion beginnings, her first rap group, and the inspiration for her very memorable name.
From there, she reflects on "Cream Team," her breakout single, and how it led to her celebrated mixtape Satisfaction Guaranteed. As for her new project, the rapper describes it as an "a true embodiment of the sounds I hear in my head, the things that I feel, the things that I've experienced, and just putting it together nicely -- just expressing my emotions clearer".
