Ignoring the new industry standard of releasing albums on Fridays, Dreamville's Omen has opted to drop his debut, Elephant Eyes on the old day of choice, Tuesday. Arriving on iTunes this morning (purchase it below), the album features a collab with his label boss, J. Cole, called "Things Change."

Over a low key, subtly jazzy beat, Cole kicks things off by spitting an impassioned verse before letting a sultry hook sung by a woman ride out. Omen comes through with a second verse that may even outshine its predecessor, ensuring that this guy deserves to be on Cole's team.

Quotable Lyrics

Back in the days I was stressin' a grip
The only black in my class, wonderin' where do I sit?
College campus too fast, now depression exist
Like I'm less than equipped, feelin' destined to quit
