It's just been announced that Meek Mill will support Nicki on the "Pinkprint" tour. Judging by his personality, Meek is no "opening act," but for Nicki, he'll gladly make an exception. In his own words, Nicki Minaj is "da best female ever". That tweet was from three years ago, and Meek's thirst goes back even further than that. Meek first tweeted about Nicki in October of 2009.

Now, it's safe to say #Omeeka is somewhat of an item. After a series of cuddly Instagram pics hinted at romance, the two were spotted at the NBA All-Star Game together. Then, Nicki revealed that the two, indeed, like to have "fun" together. Five years of thirst appears to be finally paying off. There's hope for us all. It took three years for Nicki to get back to him, but Meek had some hilarious bursts of thirst along the way.

The Early Stages

The Early Stages

Meek first tweeted at Nicki in October of 2009, before any of his Dreamchasers mixtapes and before Nicki had put out a release on Young Money.

In June of the next year, Nicki sent out a tweet before she flew off to Jamaica, and Meek responded "IMMA MEET U DERE!"

Meek Professes His Love

Meek Professes His Love

On July 26, 2010, Meek tweets: "i love @NICKIMINAJ" i swear yall I admit it". And that's not all: "i hope one day I can fuck her just to say i fuckin hit it". That day may have finally arrived. This was actually a line from a freestyle Meek did over Drake's "Miss Me," from Thank Me Later. In the freestyle, Meek continues:

"And girl I'm fuckin' serious I lick it 'fore I stick it / If you ever hear this verse I'm on your top just like a fitted / Uh, and Philly want that back / You won't even have a show you be in Philly coming back / I make sure I save you verses and put you on every track / I swear to God girl I ain't lying I would kill it from the back". Do you think Nicki ever heard the verse?

i love @nickiminaj i sware yall i admit it i hope one day i can fuck her just to say i fuckin hit it -miss me freestyle-

— Meek Mill (@MeekMill) July 27, 2010

A week later, Meek tweets: "@NICKIMINAJ really fucked bottoms up!!!!!most niggas ain't fuckin wit her!!!!" Was Meek?

Next, Meek jumps on a tweet from the comedian Lil Duval. Duval says, despite what anyone thinks, he wants to "RAW" Nicki. Obviously, Meek shares the same desire.

Still Thirsty

Still Thirsty

In September 2010, a fan asked Meek whether he thought Nicki had heard his words on "Miss Me," to which Meek tweeted back: "Yea son!!"

— Meek Mill (@MeekMill) September 2, 2010

Days later, Meek jumped on a tweet from his friend Karl Dargan, a boxer from Philly who won a gold medal at the 2007 Pan Am Games. Dargan gave Nicki a shout-out for "murdering these bitches", but Meek had his eye on Dargan's intentions. After Dargan assured Meek he was just showing respect, Meek had some words of his own for Nicki.

I c u tryna get some of dat @NICKIMINAJ love on da latenight ...lolRT @DynamiteKO: U definitely murdering these bitches @NICKIMINAJ

— Meek Mill (@MeekMill) September 5, 2010

— Meek Mill (@MeekMill) September 5, 2010

Here's a tweet we hope Nicki hasn't seen, or, by now, has forgotten about. While thinking about Nicki's "fat ass," Meek speculated on Nicki's diet. She must eat a whole lot of "oddles n noodles and sandwiches".

@NICKIMINAJ eats alot of oodles n noodles and sandwiches wit dat fat ass!!!

They Meet

In February 2011, both Meek and Nicki perform at DJ Khaled's 2011 NBA All-Star "Welcome To My Hood Takeover" in Los Angeles.

Meek also enjoyed Nicki's half-time performance at the next year's All-Star game.

And finally, Nicki tweets at Meek!

Unfortunately, as Lockerz.com is now shut down, we're not exactly sure what this piece of content is. Can anyone confirm? Regardless, the flirting has begun.

Things Go Public (Sorta)

Things Go Public (Sorta)

In around June of 2013, the two start appearing together on Instagram. Find the pictures in the gallery above.

In October, Meek, along with the rest of the world, was wylin' over an especially NSFW Nicki Instagram

Nicki appears on two tracks on Meek's Dreamchasers 3 mixtape, released in December 2013.

Meek Mill appeared on two tracks, "Buy a Heart" and "Big Daddy" (a bonus track), on Nicki Minaj's most recent album, The Pinkprint, which was released at the end of last year.

In "Buy a Heart," Nicki addresses Meek directly, calling him by his middle name--"Rahmeek": "You said you was in love, and I still didn't budge / Cause I already seen how you be going in when you be in them clubs". Later in song, it seems her feelings have changed: "Who wants rumors of the two of us? / But when you're away, I can't get you out of my mind / But what if you're not the one and you're wasting your time? / But you waited".

Indeed, Meek has been waiting a long time.

When asked about Meek in a recent interview with Vogue, Nicki responded: "Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun. [laughs] ... People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We've been friends for a very, very long time, and he's been around for a lot of things that I've gone through."

That's the latest, so we'll stop speculating on their current situation. Let's just give Meek a last shout-out for showing over five years of love.
