In their art, many rappers choose to take the "easy" route to popularity by singing about the popular topics like drugs, women, and money. As of late, Alabama-bred OMB Peezy has been combatting systemic racism in his music, beginning with April's "Fuck My P.O." and "Soulja Life Mentality" from last week. In both tracks, Peezy fights against the treatment of black people in America primarily by white policemen, noting the injustice that is handed to them on a daily basis.

Following the "Fuck My P.O." video that ended with Peezy running away from the cops, "Soulja Life Mentality" tells a different tale, showing him being arrested and brought into the penitentiary. The camera shows him as he is questioned by lawyers and handcuffed in jail as the 21-year-old's boys, including Nef The Pharaoh, make appearances in the video. Watch it above.
