OG Maco recently got off a tour of Europe in support of his dope Lord of Rage project, and last night he dropped two new hits. This is “So Simple,” and the other is “As A Man 2.” Based on the cover art, it seems like they’re going to appear on a project titled 7FRVR together.
“So Simple” shares more with his last feature “Bright Lights” than some of his more party-oriented tracks. Over soaring production from Harry Fraud, OG Maco half raps, half sings his way through the song, conveying his pain and frustration. It’s an emotional cut aided by the pitched-up vocal sample that’s used throughout the track and Harry Fraud’s pounding drums.
