OG Maco questions Travi$ Scott's Atlanta affiliations on his new track "3500."
Over the course of his career, Travi$ Scott has often been accused of copying others' styles, whether those of Kid Cudi or his mentor, Kanye West, or more recently, Atlanta's trap rappers. The latest to call him out is OG Maco, who has a problem with Scott (a Houston native) putting Future, 2 Chainz, Metro Boomin and Zaytoven (all ATLiens) on his new single "3500." Read his tweets below.
What's impressive about an Atlanta record made by a non-Atlanta native, backed by two of the biggest artists and producers? Anyone?— OG Maco (@OGMaco) June 8, 2015
I think it's more impressive that the real Atlanta youth is making major strides without co-signs and stacked teams. We empower each other.— OG Maco (@OGMaco) June 8, 2015
I'm saying this and I'm a fan of @trvisXX But we gotta draw the line if we're gonna take the game. We gotta be legendary in our own right— OG Maco (@OGMaco) June 8, 2015

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think Maco had a problem with the similarly Atlanta-heavy Days Before Rodeo?
