Anthony Wall visited a local waffle house in North Carolina after having taken his sister to her high school prom recently. While dining, the 22 year-old got into a verbal altercation with some employees, which inevitably led to the police being called to settle to kerfuffle and remove him from the premises.

When a police officer arrived, he placed Wall in a chokehold before eventually taking him away in handcuffs. Wall has since been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

However, footage of the incident has since made its way online, amassing a viewership in the tens of thousands. In the video, Wall is seen with his hands up in the air, which did not phase the officer as he continued to physically restrain and choke him.

Speaking about the incident, Wall reveals how he was "pretty much trying to scream for air and trying to breathe because he was holding my throat and that's when I got aggressive with him because you are choking me." He accepts responsibility for his actions within the waffle house, but admits that the excessive force used by the authorities was unnecessary. "Your hands should have never been around my neck like that if my hands were in the air."

The District Attorney's Office and the Warsaw Police Department are investigating to the chokehold to confer if it was legal or not.
