Oba Rowland shares a new track called "Colors".

Detroit has had more of a spotlight on it following the breakout success of DeJ Loaf, and one of the more interesting discoveries is Oba Rowland, who's been doing his thing for a little while now, but has since been getting more exposure.

After touring with DeJ, he's come through with a new record called "Colors". The track is an r&b-infused low-key jam, which finds Rowland using melody throughout, musing on the two-faced behavior he's experienced from people as he makes his way up. If you like what you hear, make sure to watch his "YNCU" video from a couple months back. What do you think of Oba so far?

Quotable Lyrics:
I ain't used to this
But I've gotta carry on
Things change, niggas switch up
When it's time to choose sides
Niggas bitch up
I'm not surprised
They don't make 'em like us no more
I keep my circle tight
'Cause I don't know who to trust no more
