Nyles Davis was born in Boston, but is currently based in Seattle. Still, he shares a view with Atlanta - "Fuck 12". The popular saying, which is not exclusive to ATL, but has been famously used by many of its biggest names (Gucci Mane, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, etc), is a condemnation of narcotics officers, or more generally, police.
Nyles' song of the same name isn't the aggressive track the title might present it as. In a sort of reverse "99 Problems", he starts things with "First off, Fuck 12." before venting on the other things going on in his life - both positive and negative. The heavily filtered sample on the instrumental recalls the work of 40, while Davis hovers on the line between singing and rapping throughout.
