Rapper/TV personality N.O.R.E. was recently on The Breakfast Club morning show on Power 105.1 to promote the new season of his show Drink Champs. However, when talking about trying to book guests on his show, the conversation quickly turned to the last time he saw Prodigy, one day before his death.
According to N.O.R.E., he was planning on having Raekwon as a guest on his food show that was taping in Las Vegas, but the Wu-Tang member's plane was late, so he had to get an alternate guest instead. As it turns out, he was supposed to make a concert appearance with Raekown as well, but he ended up performing with Onyx because of the schedule change, which led to him seeing Prodigy after he was done on stage. "I said 'No excuse today, I'm getting y'all n****s f**ked up' and Prodigy's last word to me was, 'I would, but I'mma be back later, I don't feel good'." N.O.R.E. said he'd heard the emcee say something to that effect many times before, and had no idea that was the last time they'd ever speak.
