YG and Nipsey Hussle embody the West Coast. Through their music, they highlight the lifestyle that comes with their respective turfs. They've collaborated on several occasions, most recently on Nip's album for "Last Time That I Checc'd." Back in 2013, they revealed plans for a joint project. Their individual careers have veered their focus on it but there's still hope. Nipsey Hussle recently revealed that they still have plans on dropping it in the future.

Nipsey Hussle recently chopped it up with Billboard on his latest album, the brilliance of Master P and plans to drop the joint project with YG. The rapper revealed that its still on the way but their own solo careers have gotten in the way. Their first major collab together on "FDT" was supposed to be on their collab project.

"''FDT' was for the YG and Nip Hussle album, and you heard how crazy that shit came out? He put that on the album and was like, “Fuck that, I’m done.” And I understand that. Those sessions were sessions for the collab project." He said. "We went into Mustard’s studio every day. Young Thug came through. A lot of songs that wound up on different projects happened in there."

However, their plans to pursue the joint album is not dead by any means. Nipsey said that life got in the way of wrapping it up but its a project that he says "the West wants."

"The idea is definitely not dead. Life happens." He said, "He got a solo career and I got a solo career. He got a kid and I got kids. That’s something the West wants, and we’re gonna do it, and we’re gonna call it America’s Most Wanted."

While he didn't reveal a possible release date or a time frame, we're hoping to see the project drop in the near future. However, YG recently announced his next studio album Stay Dangerous and Nipsey's still pushing Victory Lap so it doesn't seem like it'll be something that we'll end up seeing this year. Either way, it's exciting to know that the idea for America's Most Wanted isn't out the window.
