Nipsey Hussle capped off his #MarathonMondays weekly music series with a mixtape that summarizes the entire run. The project features the sixteen records he released during the run of the series, including collaborations with Dave East, Young Thug, Snoop Dogg, Kirko Bangz and more. The compilation, titled Slauson Boy 2, just dropped today and contains one extra unheard collaboration with singer Stacy Barthe.
"Mercy" is actually a highlight too, with a g-funk inspired synth line and a catchy melody from Stacy. However it does feel abrupt, centered with just one verse from Neighborhood Nip.
