If you've been following Nikko Lafre's rise and his string of mixtapes that propelled him, you are familiar with an important person in Nikko's story and struggles-- Geechi. "Geech" not only represents someone close to Nikko, but Nikko himself, as he tells us. On his MPLS: West End Stories we were properly introduced to Geechi, by way of "Geechi's Story: Explosions" and "Geechi's Story: The Prayer." Although we've heard Nikko change up his sound a bit, opting for a smoother r'n'b style on his recent project Troubled Soul: Blame The City, he reminds us today that he's "Still Geech."
This song serves as a bonus cut off the iTunes version of Troubled Soul, which'll become available for purchase next Tuesday, so keep an eye out for that. Along with "Still Geech" the iTunes version comes with two other bonus tracks.
