Hector Montez, a student at Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas went viral about a week ago after video surfaced of him giving his teacher a pair of "Taxi" Air Jordan 12s. The AVID teacher, Mr. Walser, was overjoyed when he received the pair of kicks and said they were something he has wanted since he was 12 years old.
This good deed was shared by enough outlets that Nike ultimately picked up on it and decided to return the favor.
They sent Hector a pair of the recently released "Gym Red" Air Jordan 12s, along with a hand written note that read, “Your teacher inspired you. You inspired us. Continue to be the change you want to see.”
