Even in retirement, Jordan Brand continues to show love to New York Yankees legend, Derek Jeter.
The latest Jordan Brand tribute to The Captain comes in the form of a brand new "RE2PECT" Air Jordan 1 Flyknit, which is scheduled to release via Nike SNKRS and other Jordan Brand retailers on Friday, February 23rd, for the retail price of $180.
The kicks feature a cream-flavored sail and navy upper as well as some gold detailing throughout the silhouette. An icy blue outsole sits beneath with a graphic that reads, "The Captain" with Jeter's retired #2 in place of the 'N.' The "RE2PECT" Air Jordan 1 Flyknit will be available at several major retailers including Champs Sports and Eastbay.
Given the fact that Jeter just basically handed NL MVP Giancarlo Stanton to the Bronx Bombers a few months ago, Yankees fans everywhere should be looking to get their hands on this Derek Jeter tribute sneaker, as a way of saying 'thanks, again.'
