Last night in Detroit, LeBron James laced up a brand new Nike LeBron 15 PE featuring a bright blue upper and a yellow swoosh. As it turns out, this special edition PE was inspired by the first Nike shoe, the Waffle Trainer, and it will be apart of Nike's new "LeBron Watch" program.
The Nike LeBron Watch program will give fans the opportunity to purchase special edition LeBron 15s, such as the "Waffle," after they make their on-court debut. Each of the kicks in the LeBron Watch program pays tribute to iconic sneakers and meaningful silhouettes, including Nike's Air Max and Griffey lines.
A teaser video was released last night giving us a glimpse of some more LeBron 15 PEs that LeBron will be taking the court in later this season. Five of those PEs will soon be available to Nike members via the SNKRS app as soon as he laces them up.
