Roger Federer is once again the #1 ranked tennis player in the world, after returning from a knee injury and capturing three grand slams over the last 14 months. At the age of 36, he is the oldest person to be named world #1 in the sport.
In celebration of Federer's recent string of accomplishments, Nike has gifted him a special edition 1-of-1 Nike Air Force 1 Low.
The kicks are built on a premium black leather upper accompanied by gold accents including the Swooshes, RF logo on the tongue and RF Nike Air logo on the heel. Of course, these special edition shoes don't come in an ordinary box.
The one of a kind AF1s are housed in a custom wooden box that features several nods to Federer's career. "Betterer With Age" is etched on the side of the box and his current #1 ranking, as well as his record 302 weeks as the top tennis player in the world, are also included.
