Nicki Minaj brings her vocal talents to Cartoon Network.

Nicki Minaj's animated personality is getting put to good use on brand new episode of the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe. Previewed at this weekend's San Diego Comic Con, the episode, titled "Coach Steven," is set to premiere on Thursday, August 24th.

In the episode preview (available to view below), the rapper voices a gigantic character called Sugilite, the result of a fusion between the two supporting characters named Garnet and Amethyst. The two decide to join summon Minaj's character when faced with a task too large for either of them on their own, though they're warned that Sugilite is "a little unstable."

Minaj is no stranger to animated voicework, having already lent her vocals to the animated feature Ice Age: Continental Drift as well as a 2012 episode of The Cleveland Show in which she played herself.

In other Nicki news, the rapper's second Pink Print single, "Anaconda," was pushed back to an August 4th release. The reasoning for the delay, Nicki claims, will become clear "before the week is out."
