Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj's brother, Jelani Maraj, was arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old, and while we were already aware that Maraj had made bail, Page Six now reports that the $100,000 bond was supplied by Nicki herself.
The bond is said to be supported by two of Minaj's homes in Baldwin. The homes belong to Jelani himself and Nicki's mother, Carol, respectively.
The source also reports that with the possibility of the bail being as high as $500,000, Nicki was preparing to share a letter of credit for a bank account housing upwards of $2 million.
Maraj currently faces charges of first-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct. No word on when he will appear in court next.
