Nicki Minaj cancelled her Tuesday taping of The Ellen Show, due to what she calls "Doctor's Orders." The NY rapper made the announcement last night much to the chagrin of her "Barbies." Outside of forced expectations, Nicki relayed her shared disappointment, and alluded to mild health concerns as reason for her absenteeism. She did after all put in a full weekend shift, doubling as SNL's host, and the Highline Ballroom's guest of honor on Saturday Night, where she managed a 20 minute appearance before fleeing the scene in an unmarked car.
The announcement she failed to make due to rescheduling, is due to be revealed at some point during the day. Nicki has already announced that her album is set for release next month, and that her tour will be her best yet, and those in attendance will be privy to the biggest news item in her agenda. Perhaps her announcement will help flesh out the details, perhaps her tour will take her across the World? Maybe there's a new song in the balance, what have you?
What would it take to topple the major splash she made on April 12th, when both "Chun-Li" & "Barbie Tingz" were dropped live on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 podcast? Rest assured, those questions will be answered in the near future. Stay tuned.
